Why you should become a member
Once you become a member, you will be given the opportunity to have a mentor who will assist you in developing the skills you are seeking as a leader and speaker.
An experienced member will give you an introduction session to the Toastmasters online education program Pathways, guiding you through the various flexible options for your development, helping you to choose a Path tailored specifically for your current needs.
You will be encouraged to deliver your first speech – your Ice Breaker – soon after becoming a member.
Why Northern Beaches Toastmasters Club
Northern Beaches Toastmasters Club is a club with a difference. Meeting each month at a different Restaurant along the Northern Beaches, it offers a unique opportunity to develop great leadership and public speaking skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

If you are about to get married and worried about giving a speech, or think that learning how to control your nerves and give great presentations would help you in some other aspects of your life, then Toastmasters is the answer.

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at a variety of local restaurants where we share fun, camaraderie and some seriously good food as we learn and progress towards achieving our goals.
How to Join
The only requirement to join Northern Beaches Toastmasters Club is a desire to improve communication, listening and leadership skills, in the friendly atmosphere of a social dinner. Our members are Toastmasters who have various levels of experience from beginner to advanced.
Some members have chosen our club because we meet only once a month and this means less time involvement in assignment preparation. Many have joined because they enjoy the social camaraderie of Toastmasters. Some members belong to at least one other club and so, with the added benefit of belonging to multiple clubs, there are additional opportunities to speak and grow in confidence.
Our annual subscription fee is $240, paid bi-annually with $120 due in both September and March. The one off $50 joining fee for Toastmasters International is waived if you are a member of another Toastmasters club. As a member of a second club, you will receive an additional copy of the magazine of Toastmasters International…one to keep in your workplace, one to keep at home or one to give to a friend.
